Western Illinois vs. South Dakota State

Western Illinois did the unthinkable last night as they took down Oral Roberts in a one point thriller that went right down to the final buzzer. They employed a strategy that has been their biggest asset all season.  That is run the shot clock on offense and dig in on the defensive end. That game saw just 89 shots attempted, so expect more of the same tonight vs. South Dakota State. It was a season low for ORU who had previously scored in the 50s or worse just two times all season and none in their last 21 games. The Jackrabbits, similar to ORU, like to run, but despite of that they have played to a 14-5 mark to the UNDER in their last 19.  The running game won't be an option here as Western Illinois is 3416-1 to the UNDER in their last 51, while the Jackrabbits are 10-1 to the UNDER in their last 11 in the conference.
