Western Illinois at UMKC

Western Illinois came within 2 points of shocking South Dakota State a year ago in the Summit Championship Game which they extended to overtime. This team grew up from that experience and most of those pieces are back. They have started this year’s campaign at 4-3 already. The UMKC kangaroos are even-up through six games at 3-3, but have been devoured in a couple of games vs. very good teams, and their wins are not notable at all. They don't have a reliable scorer and lack size inside. They also have trouble on the glass, and Western Illinois has enough to exploit those shortcomings.
