Western Carolina at Oakland

The Western Carolina Catamounts won 19 games last year, and seemed to get better as the season progressed. They will be hard pressed to get close to that number this season as they have had to replace not only their top two scorers, but four of their top five scorers. And this is not a program that just reloads and doesn't skip a beat. Oakland has started at 0-3. That may give the sign they are in trouble here, but not when you take a closer look. The Grizzlies first three opponents are a combined 10-0 on the season, and this game will be a lot more representative of what they are capable of, and at this point, at 0-3, they are lurking under the radar. They certainly have a strong chance against a depleted Western Carolina team that is playing on the road with an inexperienced team. Oakland has enough to put one in the win column at home.
