Western Carolina at Furman

The Western Carolina Catamounts are a battle tested 2-4. They held their own vs. Wichita State, getting the cover, and played Western Kentucky tough. This is a team that took Davidson to overtime last season in the Southern Conference Championship. While they have lost their best player and remain a young team, there is a lot of experience to call on. Furman struggled through an injury-plagued season a year ago to finish 15-16. This year a lot of freshmen are being asked to make immediate contributions, and it will take a while to see if they can add to last season's mediocre results.
