Western Carolina at Alabama

Alabama has been an outstanding program for over a decade. They had 13 consecutive winning seasons, but that all came crashing down a year ago when they finished 13-19. The good news is they played well over the line in their opener resulting in a 28 point win vs. Towson, and I don't see this game as being much different. Western Carolina is from the weak Southern Conference and is projected to finish eighth in the 10 team league. The Catamounts finished a respectable 19-15 a year ago, but the main cogs from that team are both gone. What is left is not impressive, and what is coming in isn't going to be ready to add much help. The Catamounts are starved for scoring, the perfect recipe for a big favorite to get over the top. Play on Alabama.
