VMI at Samford

The VMI Keydets are at the very least a fun team to watch. They love to push the ball and shoot early, and fire up a lot of three-point shots. This year they have pounced on inferior teams, scoring 133 and 124 vs. the likes of Mid Atlantic Christian, and Johnson University, but unlike in their recent past, they have not been able to get it going vs. similar competition. They have been held to 72 points or less in three of their other five games, including 66 vs. The Citadel. After getting hammered by Purdue, Samford has been very good and played above the line at 5-0 ATS in their last five lined games. VMI doesn't have the level of talent to compete without a frenetic style, and that has not worked well with this year's group so far. Take Samford.
