Virginia Tech at Kentucky

The Virginia Tech Hokies have been playing a frenetic style this season. Through 10 games have emerged at 9-1 and lead the nation in scoring at 96.2 points per game. That all sounds impressive, but the schedule has been for the most part very soft. When they squared off against Iowa, and Ole Miss, they were slowed down considerably, shooting less than 44% in both games. Kentucky brings more speed, depth, and athleticism than the Hokies have seen all season, and I expect them to be slowed even further. Kentucky does not seem to be as potent offensively as in recent years, but they have rim protectors, and their last seven opponents have combined to shoot less than 40% against them. Think this game is played in the 70s at best, and will side with the UNDER.
