Villanova at St. Joseph's

Vintage Villanova this is not, but this is still a talented, but young team. With a cross city rivalry in hand, expect them to raise their level of play here especially as a dog. Phil Martelli has assembled a capable team this season, but one that has some good wins, but a loss to American University and Iona as well. While the scoring is there, the free-throw shooting away from the top two has been horrendous and will cost them points here. The Wildcats have been bested in this annual series in the last four ATS, and it is time for them to step up and take control here. I like this team in a dog role as it will bring out their best. Take Villanova in this one.
