The Tar Heels are loaded and seem to glide through the regular season knowing this is where they would be, and this would be where they began to exert some energy, not only offensively but defensively. The Tar Heels can score, everyone knows that, but during the season, they were allowing a lot of points, exerting little effort on the defensive end. The Tar Heels allowed nearly 77 points per game in their last 13, and just relied on their powerful offense to win the game. During the tournament, the Heels have stepped it up on the defensive end allowing just over 66 ppg, while scoring almost 90 themselves. Villanova has had a great run, but they are going to be out-manned at every position. Also, the track-meet style game that propelled them frequently this year is not the right type of team to take down the heels. I like North Carolina by double-digits here.
