Outside of the BCS Conference teams in New England, these two programs have probably been the best in recent years. Tommy Amaker has changed the expectations at Harvard, but after a record 26-win season, his roster doesn't look the same as four of the top five players have moved on. The Crimson have started 2-2 and although Amaker has five freshmen in the fold that will need to contribute, it is going to take some time to get this team on a winning track. John Becker has a lot of talent and is expected to win the American East. His Catamounts team won an NCAA Tournament game for just the second time in school history a year ago, and remains a force to be dealt with this season. Vermont is off to a 3-1 start with the only loss coming at UConn. Harvard has a reputation from the last couple years, but this team is definitely a step or two behind those teams. Take the points and Vermont.
