The Rams have shocked many by winning two games to get here. The last win was a 18 point beatdown of a favored Georgetown club. Is VCU playing well right now? Yes. Are they as good as they seem? I don't think so. They were a bit lucky to draw Georgetown last game. The Hoyas lost six of their last seven, thanks in part to their star guard (Chris Wright) who just wasn't right. He had just had a cast taken off and the hand was still visibly swollen. They now catch a motivated Purdue team with no such issues. This Boilermakers team seems to be on a mission to show they can without Robbie Hummel. They destroyed St. Peters by 22 points in the opening round and I think they deliver another double-digit win in this game. This season the Boilermakers are 13-6 ATS vs. teams that outscore their competition by 4+ points per game. They are also 15-7 ATS as a favorite and 15-7 ATS coming off a win. I like Purdue to win big here.
