Vanderbilt at Memphis

Penny Hardaway brought in a strong recruiting class as usual at Memphis, and made great use of the transfer portal. He had just one returning starter but has his Memphis team at 9-2. The Tigers aren't blowing teams out, as they have just one win by 17 or greater points on the season. Vanderbilt is a sluggish 4-7 to open the season, but they have been quite competiive as they have just two losses by greater than 17 points (one was 18). The Commodores play very methodically and one reason they are not being blown out is because they have limited possessions in their games which has led to five straight games finishing UNDER the total. I think Memphis is not bringing the "A" game here, and Vandy will be able to slide in under a number that looks too big for the game situation. Make the play on Vanderbilt.
