Valpo dropped their opener to Ball State by double digits and it's only going to get harder here as they face the sixth-ranked team in the nation at the Smith Center. Following this game they have to face three more teams ranked in the top top 10 (Michigan State, Butler and Purdue). Ouch! The Tar Heels already have three players averaging double digits (Deon Thompson, Marcus Ginyard and Tyler Zeller) and they are shooting 57.5% as a team. If they keep that up it bodes very well for a cover here as North Carolina is 52-16 ATS over the past decade in games when shooting between 54% and 59%. They are also 27-10 ATS the past three seasons when scoring 87+ points and Valpo is allowing 88 per game on the season while NC is averaging 89 per game. The Heels held NC Central to 42 points last game and NC is 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games after holding a team to under 50 points. North Carolina runs away with this one.
