Utah is playing well for Coach Larry Krystkowiak, augmenting great defense with an offense that just exploded the last game in a 92-71 win Thursday at Washington State. For the first time in Pac-12 play, the Utes smacked of the team who beat Duke. Utah scored more than 80 against San Diego State and BYU, and has crossed the century mark three times this season. That defense will come in handy against a young Washington team that likes to run. However, they have six newcomers playing significant roles and only one senior. Defense is not a strength, allowing 93, 85, 95, 99, 85, and 83 points the last six games, which included a 99-67 defeat to Arizona. That suspect defense is also why they had home losses against UC Santa Barbara (83-78) and Oakland (97-83) during non-conference play. The Utes are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings and match up better. Play Utah.
