The Moccasins are 2-4 on the season and have not shot the ball well overall, but those numbers are a bit deceptive because they opened against Indiana and Butler. Those two games saw them shoot 33-107, diluting their overall shooting percentage significantly since at this early stage that represents 33% of their games. Over their last three games, this team has definitely picked things up against more representative competition, averaging 75.7 ppg. Georgia Southern did not get out of the 40s in each of their last two games, but are also playing over their head vs. S. Florida and SMU. They scored 79 ppg in their first three, so we are getting some line value on a lower than anticipated total. Georgia Southern has not fared well against teams below .400 now at 1-5 ATS n their last six, while the Moccasins have won four straight off a loss. This one goes to Chattanooga and the OVER.
