USC at Arizona State

The USC Trojans have been a slow tempo team and has done a much better job of that at home. That hasn't worked too well on the road where their last five have all exceeded this number, and seven of their eight away from LA this season have as well. The Sun Devils hit an offensive slump that saw them post a five-game average of just 55.2 points per game, but have since recovered to post 68 ppg in their last four. The trouble for the Sun Devils is defending as they have allowed 82 ppg in their last three. The Trojans’ inability to control tempo on the road has led to four of the last five over the total, while Arizona State has not stayed under the total in their last four vs. Pac-10 competition. The OVER has prevailed in six of the last eight in this series played in Arizona. That’s why I’m playing the OVER in this one.
