UNLV visits the Thunderdome in Santa Barbara to face UCSB. Both teams are off to good starts with just one loss. UNLV has dominated this series, but the Gauchos won on the road last year vs the Rebels. UNLV has become too reliant on the 3-point FG, as over 40% of their shots are coming from beyond the arc. The problem is they are knocking down just 28.7%. The Rebels are also getting beaten on the boards by about 4 per game. The Gauchos are doing a lot of damage inside and Alex Harris, at 25ppg, has already been to the line an amazing 56 times! He is connecting on 84% of those. The rest of the Gaucho's are hitting 76% and they are really taking care of the ball, with just 10 turnovers in their last game. The Rebels are young, and most of the parts that beat UNLV on the road last year are back. Wewill take the team scoring inside, vs the team bombing from the outside and hitting a low percentage.
