This is a great early-season matchup of a pair of teams that have the aspirations and talent to be playing deep into March. UNLV is an experienced team with a lot of depth, but may be lacking the go-to player that can get them through close games down the stretch. Kansas State is off their worst performance of the year vs. Florida where they were held to 44 points on 27% shooting, and an even worse 15.8% from behind the arc. This team is too talented, so I really expect a bounce-back game here tonight. Jacob Pullen could be the difference maker down the stretch for the Wildcats, along with Curtis Kelly who is back on the court after falling out of graces and is now averaging 10+. This one could be close down the stretch, but the edge goes to a hungry Kansas St. team that will be anxious to get a sour taste out of their mouths. I’m backing Kansas St. on the moneyline.
