UNLV lost an ugly encounter with Fresno State on Wednesday 69-66 as neither team got anything going offensively as the game came down to a multitude of free throws. The Runnin' Rebels shot only 33.3 percent from the field, but still could have won the game with less sloppy play. Five players scored in double figures for UNLV led by Ben Carter with just 12 and Stephen Zimmerman Jr. grabbed 10 rebounds and scored 10 points. Colorado State lost to Boise State 84-80 while shooting 50.9 percent from the field. Antwan Scott finished with 24 points and Joe De Ciman added 22 points. The Rams have lost six of their last nine games with the wins coming against weak competition. Both teams shoot nearly 45 percent from the floor, but UNLV has the defensive edge, allowing just a .416 field goal percentage. UNLV's ragged play in its last outing means it can't be totally trusted to cover the number, but the Rebels clearly have the edge in talent. Take UNLV on the moneyline.
