UNC Greensboro at Western Carolina

I can't say there are too many highlights for this NC Greensboro team to start the season where they are just 2-5. One thing for sure is that there is more hope than last season when they opened with 15 straight losses. Western Carolina has the better record at 4-4, but a closer look at the four wins shows all four opponents were inferior in quality. Both of these teams have struggled mightily on the offensive end, so it’s hard to trust a favorite here that shoots 41% and connects on just 29.8% from behind the arc. While the numbers aren't pretty for the Spartans, they have flown under the radar in conference play, posting a 10-3-3 ATS mark covering a 16 game span. The Catamounts are having lots of difficulty holding serve as a small favorite of less than -7 at 1-17-1 ATS. Ugly gets the money, so back NC Greensboro.
