UMKC at Morehead State

Morehead State has a strong basketball history but the Eagles were grounded last season, finishing 8-21 and 4-14 in the Ohio Valley Conference. They return four players from that team and held their own against a much improved UConn team that just beat #15 Syracuse. They also lost by just 14 to Syracuse at the Carrier Dome. They will open the Eastern Washington Tournament against UMKC. The Kangaroos have been overmatched in a 0-3 start and their shooting woes have contributed heavily as they are connecting on 35.6% on the season.
