UL Lafayette at Marshall

Both teams are off to 3-1 starts, but UL Lafayette got manhandled by Indiana, losing 76-44 on Saturday while shooting just 19.2% and making only 14 of 73 shots, including 2 of 20 from 3-point distance. The Ragin' Cajuns had one scorer in double figures, and that was Jordan Brown with 10. Marshall returns three starters from a 15-7 team, and the Thundering Herd beat Jackson State, 80-66, while holding the Tigers to 37.9% shooting. Taevion Kinsey led the Herd with 24 points. Brown was a key addition to this year's UL Lafayette team, but apparently, he won't get much help from his teammates, and the Ragin' Cajuns still have turnover problems as they did last season.
