The UAB Blazers lost a lot of talent from a year ago, but this team is used to winning and has come on late to even their record at 15-15 on the season. Alabama Birmingham is now 9-3 in their last 12 games, and is playing with confidence and at a high level. On the season, UAB is 19-9 to the UNDER including 11-4 UNDER on the road. Their defense is stifling (60.2 per game allowed away from home). UCF can also play defense (62.6 per game allowed on the season). The problem for the Blazers comes on the offensive end where they are getting only 61.5 per game in conference games and 55.2 per game on average on the road. When facing a winning team the past two seasons, UAB is 23-13 UNDER. When facing a bad 3-point shooting team over that span (those making 30% or worse from beyond the arc), the Blazers are 8-1 to the UNDER. When instilled as the favorite, UCF is 19-10 UNDER the past two seasons. Finally, under head coach Mike Davis, UAB is an incredible 17-4 UNDER when playing with one day rest or no rest as they are here. Take the UNDER in this one.
