UAB at LSU

Talk about a Rodney Dangerifeld type team in this tournament. LSU is getting no respect. They had an incredible run before losing to Kentucky by 1 in a game that they should ahve won. LSU matches up well here as they are 11-1 ATS versus good shooting teams (making >45% of their shots) and a perfect 9-0 ATS vs. winning teams this season. As I said in my preview, the team that controls the tempo here will win, but Bass and Baby Shaq will be too much for a UAB team, that is not nearly the team that went to the sweet sixteen one year ago. The Tigers are sporting a perfect 10-0 ATS run coming into the contest and have sent backers to the cash window in thirteen of last fourteen games including six of seven (6-1 ATS) away from Baton Rouge. LSU is moving on, and they may send shivers down the spine of the country in the next round. Four stars on LSU.
