The Citadel at Mercer

The Citadel got double digits from the linemaker again and covered the spread in an 81-72 loss at UNC Greensboro last Saturday. The Bulldogs were led by Preston Parks with 26 points, and they got the money in spite of shooting only 38.6 percent. Mercer broke a two-game losing streak with a 70-50 win over Western Carolina with Ri'an Holland scoring 23 points for the Bears, who shot 50 percent. In the most recent meeting in March, Mercer squeaked out a 71-69 win as a 9.5-point favorite. The Citadel has covered four straight as a road underdog and four of its last five road contests.
