It has been a rugged start to the season for both of these teams, as each enter at 10-8. Texas Tech had a big win over Baylor, but that was at home where they have been a pretty good team, while the woes on the road are depicted by their 1-4 mark. The Red Raiders' four road setbacks have come by a combined 50 points. West Virginia come in on a three-game losing streak. Spotlighting the eight in the loss column, all of the losses were arguably against teams superior to Texas Tech, and half were on the road. While the records are even, West Virginia has a much better team and schedule to get there. Texas Tech is just 6-16 ATS on the road vs. a team with a winning home record, and haven't fit well into this situation. Play on West Virginia.
