Texas Tech at UTEP

Texas Tech is not a viable contender in the Big-12, and this team is going to struggle when conference play gets underway, especially on the road. The red Raiders have simply been outclassed on a neutral court or on the road this season where they have taken the donut at 0-4 and have been outscored by 61 points! The key may be their 9 point loss to a mediocre North Texas team. UTEP is strong on home court, and playing a Big-12 team especially one from Texas, is going to get the juices flowing. They can score and defend well. Allowing just 62.7ppg on the season and have a go-to player in Randy Culpepper averaging 19.1 ppg. Texas Tech just 4-10 ATS as a dog from 7-12.5, while the Miners are 9-4-1 ATS off a momentum building 20+ point win. UTEP gets this one.
