Texas Tech at Kansas State

Texas Tech has never been much of a factor in the Big-12, except for the brief tenure of Bobby Knight. The Red Raiders created a mirage with their 9-1 start in their first 10 games to an extremely soft home-laden schedule. They have since been exposed as the competition has been ramped up. The Red Raiders are just 1-5 in their last six games, suffering all five losses by 9 points or more, and appear to be in trouble here as this is just their third time on the road all season. Kansas State is a better than 9-7 team as they have played a much more aggressive schedule, and will sniff out the opportunity to get a comfortable win at home vs. a much less capable opponent. Tech has cowered on the road vs. a team with a winning home record at just 1-7 ATS in their last eight, while the Wildcats are riding high on home hardwood at 15-6 ATS in their last 21.
