Texas State at South Alabama

South Alabama took a blow when one of their top players in Taishaun Johnson left the team for what has been deemed personal reasons. It has left the team without someone that can make a needed shot when things are not going well offensively, and over their last eight contests, the Jaguars have felt the blow, shooting under 40% in six of them. Texas State has managed to start the season above water at 7-5 to a schedule that grades out pretty close to what the Jaguars have taken on so far. This game is pretty even considering the home court for the Jags, but in a close game, the Jags are one of the worst free throw shooting teams in the country at just 62.1%.
