West Virginia carries the defensive mentality that was the order of the day with them into the Big-12. They had a bumpy start, but have allowed opponents just 66.9 points per game over their last 13. Texas has seen their numbers with a higher skew because the Horns have played teams such as Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, BYU, and North Carolina who like to get out in transition and run. This game total is boosted because of that, but West Virginia, especially at home, likes to make their defense determine the outcome, especially vs. some of the better teams. Their last five played here vs. a team with a winning road record have all come up shy of the total. This one doesn't get there. Make the play on the UNDER.
