Most that watched this Tennessee team beat UConn on CBS Saturday afternoon would come away with impressive thoughts about the Volunteers. That game was at home and remember that this is still a 9-10 team and is now off an emotionally-big win, so there’s a good chance that heading on the road they will be flat. The Volunteers have not been getting it done on the road where they are still looking for their first win of the season. The offense just doesn't have enough scorers and as the schedule has gotten stronger the offense has been limited to a top mark of 67 points in their last six games. The one thing they do bring to the table is solid defense with no opponent topping the 69-point mark in their last 10 games. Vanderbilt is always tough at home. With the wide sidelines it is difficult for opponents to get used to the wide open background. The Commodores are 13-1 in regulation in their last 14 games, while three of their losses have come in overtime. Tennessee will have problems scoring here as Vandy has allowed their last 10 opponents 58.7ppg in regulation minutes, and they have been tough off a loss at 7-2-1 ATS. Tennessee comes in at 39-14 to the UNDER in their last 53 as a dog, and have only topped the total in one of their last 11. Play on Vanderbilt and the UNDER in this one.
