Tennessee State at CS Northridge

Cal State Northridge has an opportunity to get its first win under new coach Mark Gottfried, who is trying to turn around the program following a 6-24 season. The Matadors have come close, losing two games to New Mexico and Portland by three points each. They're now up against Tennessee State, which is allowing opponents a .530 shooting percentage while shooting only 40.5 percent itself. Northridge is hitting 39.2 percent from three-point range and the Matadors got 25 points from Terrell Gomez and 21 points by Lamine Diane in the loss to Portland. Tennessee State returns just one starter from last year's squad and already has lost to Lipscomb and Arkansas-Little Rock. The Tigers are 1-5-1 ATS their last seven games dating to last season and had lost six games in a row before beating two small schools in Carver Bible and Fisk.
