Tennessee Tech at UT Chattanooga

Both teams are off to difficult starts this season. Chattanooga did snap a four-game losing streak with a 95-62 win over small school Hiwassee College on Tuesday. Jerry Johnson Jr. scored 20 points for the Mocs, who shot 52 percent. Obviously, anything would be a step up in competition, but the Mocs have played five games away from home and are incorporating 10 new players into the squad this season. Tennessee Tech has managed only one win and it lost to Michigan State by 68 points while shooting 29.4 percent from the field. The Golden Eagles lost to Winthrop 82-70 on Wednesday while hitting only 6-of-20 from three-point range. Tennessee Tech was actually picked to finish in the middle of the pack in the Ohio Valley Conference, but it has terribly underachieved so far. Take Chattanooga on the moneyline.
