Temple at Towson State

The Towson Tigers like to push tempo, but they will be facing an opponent that likes to slow things down and has been known to defend very well in the process. The Owls have split a pair of games, and have a bad taste in their mouths as they are off a loss to Kent State as a -6.5 point favorite. They allowed the Golden Flashes to connect on 11 from deep and 50%. This is going to be a long season for Temple who lost four of their top five scorers, and are going to take awhile to get all the new parts working cohesively. They are going to have to defend and run some clock to try and stay in games. Towson has everyone back from a year ago, and should be better on both ends of the court, and just the name Temple should have them playing hard on the defensive end. Temple has slowed down the Colonial Conference opponents they have faced recently as they are 5-0 to the UNDER in their last five against them. Towson is the more experienced team here, and are at the comforts of home, and will be ready to dig in against the inexperienced Owls. I don't think that Temple can score enough here to get this one over the top of the lofty total. Make the play on Towson and the UNDER.
