Syracuse vs. San Diego State

Syracuse finished the season at 16-9 and had to sweat out a bid and ended up getting one. The Cuse is an 11 seed and will take on San Diego State Syracuse under Jim Boeheim has had a lot of tourney success especially in the role of an underdog as his zone defenses tend to offer a much different look to foreign opponents that have a difficult time finding an offensive flow that they are comfortable with. San Diego State is 23-4 on the season and is allowing just 61.6 points per game, and Syracuse is not a good shooting team. San Diego State games have averaged just 106 shots per game, and combine that with the Syracuse zone which often makes an opponent take longer to get a shot off and we have the makings for a lower scoring game than expected.
