Syracuse at Villanova

The Cuse just has not been playing as well as we thought they might this season. The Orange barely beat Notre Dame on their home court last Saturday and then dropped one to UCONN this week. They are not playing good defense right now at all. UCONN was getting easy basket after easy basket. Now, earlier in the season, I told you that the Wildcats should suprise in the Big East this year, and they are doing exactly that. The big win during the Noreaster over Kansas seemed to spark this club. Not to mention their brush with death while aboard an airplane in December. Villanova is 7-0 ATS in home games versus very good teams -(outscoring their opponents by 8+ points/game) over the last 3 seasons. The Cats are 4-1 since beating Kansas, and have fared well in ever game they have played since that win. Nova is 15-4 ATS after failing to cover 2 of their last 3 against the spread over the last 3 seasons. Nova is playing too well right now. Two stars on the Wildcats.
