Stony Brook at Michigan State

Michigan State lost to Duke on Tuesday, but the Spartans still are a National Championship contender with plenty of depth, experience, and improved defense and rebounding from last year's squad. Michigan State held the Blue Devils to just 39.5 percent shooting while shooting 50.8 percent themselves, but the Spartans lost it at the free throw where they were 10 of 18 compared to 19 of 29 for Duke. Stony Brook is 0-3 while shooting only 39.3 percent and allowing opponents a .503 field goal percentage. The Sea Wolves had to replace three starters from last season, including point guard Lucas Woodhouse. Their latest loss was to Ball State on Friday when UC Iroegbu led the Seawolves with 18 points.
