Stony Brook at Central Michigan

Stony Brook opened the season on the road getting blasted by Marquette, 102-62. They surprised by winning 21 games last year but have a lot of question marks and turnover for the new campaign. Forward Andre Snoddy is the only returning starter. Stony Brook is on a 7-25 straight-up run on the road. Central Michigan was the fourth-best team in the MAC (12-6) last year, when they went 10-3 at home. This is their home opener after a 74-70 victory at South Alabama as a +5.5 underdog. The Chippewas return four players from last year, including sophomore center Hunter Harding, guard Shaedon Simpson, sophomore guard Cayden Vasko, and senior guard Anthony Pritchard.
