St. Joseph's at Rhode Island

Phil Martelli has done some good work at St. Joseph’s and always seems to put a quality, well coached team on the floor. He has another very polished team this year, and has started the season at 17-3. The Hawks are 13-4-1 ATS, and lost to top teams Villanova and Florida, and have just one conference loss to VCU by a scant three points. They certainly look capable of the small upset in this one, as they have rattled off seven straight wins. Rhode Island has now dropped three of their last five to fall to 12-8 and their NCAA Tournament hopes are all but behind them. Martelli's boys are always known for 40 minutes of defense, and this year the Hawks are allowing less than 40% from the field, and less than 30% from deep, which will the difference maker in this one. Take St. Joseph’s.
