St. John's at Providence

The Providence Friars are 15-12 on the strength of a 5-1 mark in their last six games. It hasn't been easy, as nothing has been for this team, as three of the wins have come by 4 points or less. The Friars can score, but they also can give it up, whicch makes them a difficult chocie in the roll of a moderate size favorite. St. John's is 8-7 in league play, but a closer looks shows just one of those losses was to a team that is not at least on the NCAA Tournament bubble. They have done a good job beating the teams they are supposed to beat, and they should be in this one down the stretch. The Johnies have bounced back from a 10+ point loss at home to follow at 6-2 ATS in their last eight, and are 5-2 ATS in their last seven vs. the Friars. Play on St. John's.
