Southern has made a huge comeback after starting the season 1-6 and playing a tough early non-conference schedule apparantly helped tremendously as the Jaguars have won eight of their past nine while covering the spread their past three lined games. The Jaguars defeated Florida A&M 74-65 on Saturday with Tai'reon Joseph pouring in 33 points, including 8-for-19 from 3-point range. Southern can score a lot of points when it has to and can also win with defense as it did in a 58-51 victory over Texas Southern on Jan. 6. Bethune-Cookman has lost five of its past six games, including 79-69 to Grambling State on Saturday. Southern is 4-0 ATS versus teams with losing records and the Jaguars have covered four straight as favorites. Take Southern.
