Southern Illinois have spent a lot of years at or near the top of the Missouri Valley Conference, but not in recent years. They enter this contest at just 4-9 on the season, but the young Salukis are growing their wings and are on the improve. Notable is the fact that the loss column continues to grow, but so does the bankroll of their backers as they are now 5-2 ATS in their last seven games. Bradley comes in as a bigtime struggling team at 5-9. The five wins have come vs. lesser programs and the losing streak has now reached five straight. They have failed to cover any of their games as a three point favorite or more and, in fact, have lost two of the three. The Braves are riding a 1-6 ATS mark in their last seven at home and the road team has come away with the money in the last four meetings. Southern Illinois gets the nod.
