South Florida at Providence

What can I say about South Florida? They are a covering machine. They laid points to Louisville, Notre Dame, Georgetown, took Villanova to 3 at home and the list goes on and on and on. This team has been dogged forever and they are one of the biggest golden nuggets to play as a dog. Sure, they don't win many games and are on a massive losing streak, but they cover the spread time and time again. Why? Because of their defensive and possession style of basektball that they do play where each point that is scored on them, and each point they score, is a laboring process, hence tighter games. They lost to Notre Dame by 7 on the road, lost to Gtown by 3, lost to Villanova by 3, lost to Louisville by 3, Seton Hall by 5, and Cincnati by 13 - a game they covered. Yes, they lost to Rutgers by double digits, but I beleive they have more than covered the spread time and time again, and now they play a Providence team that is on the lower rung of quality teams in the Big East. A standard play here on South Florida because they have treated the under dog backer so well so far. Three stars on S. Florida plus the generous points.
