Central Florida coach Johnny Dawkins only had one returning starter as the Knights entered the Big 12 and he did a great job as they are 17-15 overall and 11-7 at home. He was fortunate that Darius Johnson did return as he led the team with 21.5 points per game and three other scorers, C.J. Walker, Jaylin Sellers and Antwann Jones all averaged double figures. The Knights have won four of their past seven games, but lost to BYU in the Big 12 Tournament. South Florida is 24-7 and missed a chance to go the NCAA Tournament by losing to UAB in the AAC Tournament and that could mean a disenchantment of the NIT. The Bulls are 7-1 UNDER on the road versus teams with winning home records and they have gone UNDER 10 of their past 12 road games. South Florida is 19-12 UNDER on the season.
