South Carolina at Tennessee

South Carolina caught fire at the end of last season, and took it all the way to the Final Four. This season, they are trying to repeat history, and recover from a February slump that has seen them lose five straight games. The difference is, there are simply not the pieces available this year, and heading to face a ranked Tennessee team tonight, and then another in Auburn does not bode well. The Gamecocks' last three games were totally not competitive, dropping all three of them by an average of 19 points per game, and have come no closer than 16. Tennessee has seen a resurgence under Rick Barnes, and the Vols saw a six game winning streak end in horrifying fashion last time out, shooting a season low 27.6%. I look for Tennessee to come out intense to rid themselves of a bad game, and win big tonight. Play on Tennessee.
