South Carolina at George Mason

We all know that Jim Larranaga can coach and recruit. Last year he had a young team, but still managed to find a way to 18-15, and this year they are all back and will be in contention for a run to the top in the Colonial. The team struggled offensively last year, but led the CAA in defense. Thomas and Campbell give them a nice inside, outside threat. South Carolina lost its top three scorers from a year ago including the SEC's top scorer in Tre Kelly. The Gamecocks have a host of transfers and freshmen that will keep them competitive, but against deeper experienced teams they are going to struggle, and we'll take George Mason in this spot.
