SMU at Oregon

SMU went to the NIT last year and hasn't made the NCAA Tournament since 2017. They faced a Top 20 team twice during the regular season in Houston and lost both, 74-60 and 70-48. They head out on the road to face a talented Oregon squad that made the Sweet 16. Oregon coach Dana Altman prefers small, athletic lineups, and their weak spot at times can be rebounding. However, SMU poses no threat as their top rebounder in the opener was 6-5 senior Marcus Weathers. SMU has a lot of new faces, so this is a difficult situation and matchup.
