Siena at Loyola Maryland

The Siena Saints got a lot of ink, and justifiably so over the last couple years. They were Cinderella darlings in the big dance, but the bulk of those players have departed and the rebuilding is on. The Saints own just a 7-12 mark coming into this one and have dropped five straight games, but the oddsmakers keep giving them credit, so the ATS tally is also 0-5. Loyola has been coming on strong on the strength of four straight wins, vaulting them over the .500 mark for the season. Coach Patsos’s emphasis on defense is paying off, and the last two Loyola opponents have failed to reach the 30-point mark in the first half, and Loyola is 13-5 ATS under his watch in their next game after this occurs. Neither one of these teams has inspired much on offense, but with Loyola at home playing tough defense, I like them to get the home win and will play them on the moneyline.
