SE Missouri State at South Florida

Missouri State is off a tough loss at St. Louis as they lost on a buzzer beating tip-in 51-50. The more notable part here, is they shot just 31.5% on the road and had the game all the way to the buzzer. Missouri St. is 9-1 ATS off a SU loss, and they will come back hard tonight. This team was snubbed from the NCAA tourney with an RPI of 22 last year, and no losses to any team with less than 20 wins. S. Florida has started strong at 7-3 but no quality wins to speak of. The home-court advantage here, which is limited anyway, will be less of a factor as the big event for this student body is the Bowl game this weekend they are in. The Sun Dome holds 10,411 and usually the Bulls will draw 2,500 or so, but with the Bowl game and students leaving for Holiday break it may be half that. The Bulls have not established that home-court edge as of yet in their short Big east history, as they are a lowly 1-5 ATS as a home dog. S. Florida commited 23 turnovers vs UNLV in their latest loss and average 17 a game. That's way too many to challenge a quality opponent.
