SE Missouri State at Samford

Why is a 4-4 team laying points to a 6-4 team that has won six of their last eight? There must be a good reason, and there is. The fact is, this SE Missouri State team is just 13-27 the past two seasons in conference play. Samford has won three of the last four games at home in this series. They are holding opponents to just 57.5 ppg on 39.5% shooting. At home teams have scored just 56 per game on 37.5% from teh field and they have held their last five opponents to 35.1% shooting! Samford's problem has been on offense where they are averaging just 62.7 per game. But at home they are scoring 68.4 per game and they get a Redhawks defense that is allowing 84 ppg on the road. SE Missouri State has feasted on weak opponents but get a tougher road test here. We like Samford to get the win.
